Duathlon Journey Began

Jess’s duathlon journey in April 2015, qualified for first GB representation in my 3rd ever Duathlon that year where I became British champion also. I competed in running from the age of 17 before making the jump across to Duathlon.

British Age Group Duathlon Championship

In June 2015 I achieved my first Age Group British Championship title.

World Age Group Duathlon Championships

In June 2016 I achieved a silver medal in the World Age Group Duathlon championships.

Rehabilitation season

In 2017 Jess took time out of international competition because of injury. In this time Jess developed first-hand experience of proper rehabilitation and how to recover properly for long-term competition.

Equipment Sponsor

In February 2018, Sports 4 Tri became my first official sponsor, supplying my discounted equipment and kit for competitions.

British Age Group Duathlon Championship

In April 2018 I achieved my second Age Group British Championship title.

UCI Gran Fondo Qualification

Cycling I achieved UCI Gran Fondo qualification in the Tour of Cambridgeshire in 2017 (in the sportif ride).

16.4 Mile TT Result

In June 2018 I achieved a personal best of 44 minutes 37 seconds for the 16.4 mile TT race in the Tour of Cambridge. This was an average speed of 22.05 mph.

European Age Group Duathlon Championships

In July 2018 I achieved a bronze medal in the World Age Group Duathlon championships.

World Age Group Duathlon Championships

In October 2018 I achieved a silver medal in the World Age Group Duathlon championships.
